Smeeth W.I., which celebrated its birthday 100th birthday in June, 2018 with a series of events and the turning of Smeeth yellow in the Spring with daffodil bulbs being planted all around the village. The W.I. continues to offer women the chance to see the world through “wider” eyes and giving them the opportunity of learning about, as well as trying new things.

The 2019 diary will be no exception and a full programme has been arranged for our regular meetings which over the next six months which will include how to look at Victorian art, a visit from a Ukulele band a Charity fashion show as well as looking at the work of the charity “Smile” Additionally there will be regular lunch club meals around the area. We hope that there is something for everyone.

Do come along and try us for a month or two, and see if we can offer you what may have been missing from you life. We meet on the second Monday of the month at the Village Hall at 7.30 and we are sure that you will enjoy it. Details of our monthly programme are given in the Parish News, the Village Website, the Village Directory as well as posters around the village and on the Community Board at Tesco.
